Ministry for the Environment and Natural Resources (Iceland)

The Ministry for the Environment and Natural Resources ((アイスランド語:Umhverfis- og auðlindaráðuneytið)) is an Icelandic cabinet-level ministry founded 23 February 1990. It was originally named Ministry for the Environment but was renamed to its current name 1 September 2012. It is responsible for a wide range of measures designed to protect nature in Iceland, such as planning and building affairs, conservation, pollution control, fire prevention, meteorology and cartography.
